"What a grand thing to be loved! What a grander thing still, to love!" (Victor Hugo)

A civil wedding service allows you the freedom to say “I do” in your own style. Choose a spectacular outdoor setting or a cozy restaurant courtyard; maintain traditional ceremonial elemenents, or go with a contemporary, personalised style; keep it short and sweet, or savour the day with a lengthier ceremony.

I can incorporate cultural, spiritual or family traditions in a number of ways to ensure a unique and meaningful ceremony. For example, symbolize Celtic origins with a traditional Handfasting. A Honey Ceremony uses this symbolic food to represent the sweetness of love and life. Pay tribute to Greek Orthodox heritage with a Triple Ring Exchange or Crowning Ceremony.

Involve loved ones in your celebration through aptly chosen readings. From the ancients such as Plato and Horace, the famous works of Shakespeare, Kipling and Yeats of the 20th century, and countless others, flow inspirational words of love. Or, perhaps of even greater significance, include those tributes written especially by family and friends.

Rarely in life will you have the opportunity to publicly proclaim your love for one another, so seize it with the honesty and emotion such a momentous occasion deserves. I will provide you with guidance in writing your own vows if you choose to do so; or present you with a range of pre-written vows that you can adapt or use as they are.
